Fiction to Film in November

Precious, based on the book Push by Sapphire, will star Gabourey Sidibe and comic actress Mo’Nique. Produced by Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry,this is serious business. Don’t be fooled, this is no comedy as it addresses the abuse of a 16-year-old overweight girl who is determined to pursue a better life.

The Twilight Saga:  New Moon, starring Kristen Steward, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner. Based on the second book in the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, the film will be directed by Chris Weitz.

The Road, starring Viggo Mortensen, Charlize Theron, and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Based on the novel by Alice Sebold, the film will be directed by John Hillcoat.
